THE RAMAKIEN / BUKRUK BANGKOK 2013

coming back from Bangkok was hard…We had so much fun, met so many cool people, fell in love with the city, but back to reality…

this is the result of 5 days of hard work with a challenging wall, hot like hell temperatures, shaky scaffoldings, 2 kickass sidekicks, and a lot of fun…
inspired by the ramakien legend and the decoration on the budist temples of Bangkok, my mural artwork was a mix of visual references of the legend and my own style…

ORFEU WAS A BLAST!

Some time ago i was invited along with Kruella D´Enfer to participate ina a massive collective show created by a collective called ORFEU, which i had never heard about before, so it looked cool, but i had no expectations about it…

I had planned only to show screenprints from previous shows, but i got “dragged” by Angela´s creative fever and ended up showing 2 new pieces which where fun as hell to make, and some one of a kind greeting cards, yeah, i stole the idea from her cards…

First off all, the space is amazing, a two floors huge old warehouse, in the center of Lisboa, so it was really impressive to see it filling up as the night went on!
The event was dope as hell, showing amazing artists, starting with some nice lectures from Dj Ride and Alva but the rest of the night dedicated to sushi, moscatel and partying with loads of friends who showed up, as a cool line up of djs gave a nice soundtrack to a great night!
congrats fellas, i want to see more of this!

SABICHÃO at GALERIA DAMA AFLITA!

this one was to the last minute but it was worth the while as it made us visit Porto and attend the opening of SABICHÃO, a super collective show that i was invited along with Kruella D´Enfer, Oker, Braulio Amado, Salão Coboi and much more dope artists to show some works inspired by this amazing old school board game…

The opening was cool as hell, the rain didn´t stop people from attending the show, it was nice to meet new artists, eat that amazing cake and drink wine while i tried to understand where could i eat the best francesinha in town…
we hope to be there again soon, thanks a lot Dama Aflita for the invitation!

COLLECTIVE SHOW OPENING/// CMTV BARCELONA!

This Thursday, February 10th is the opening of “Tianguis de Arte”on the cool CMTV Gallery in Barcelona, where i will show an artwork on a very nice collective show featuring emerging artists and some big guns from the art scene in Barcelona!

had a lot of fun with this artwork, “recycled” from the streets, just a preview for now, but if you are around here, don´t forget to support and have a cold beer…on the house!

NO DIASTANCE CAN KEEP US APART.

she´s here even when she´s not.

Nice time painting with Monster and Mpid, no pressure, just clean fun, even if it was hard to paint at night because we where to lazy to get out of the couch…

no need to say that i kick some serious ass playing fifa…but i say it anyway!

BLING BLING!

Dope afternoon!

late arrival at the spot, after a complicated trip to the suburbs of Bcn, passing through some pretty ass kicking giant pieces from Aryz and Grito, Didi flirting with a water drooling teenager on the bus, Angela making friends with a senior lady but finally we met Faif (after 2 hours waiting for us, sorry dude) who was hangover like it was january 1st…i admit i wasn´t prepared to run when the cans store owner´s crazy dog started to escape from the store, showing his master who´s the boss…

finally we started painting, nice weather, Didi creating a time portal to the unknown, Kosh chilling like he knows best, Faif crossing over a piece that was looking very promissing, but hey, hangover painting can be stressing, finally he did a pimp gangasta rapper character in the middle of the dark goth pieces with a unicorn missing and(in my oppinion) Angela bitch slapping me with this Kruella logo while i was trying to get all picasso cubist fase on a lazy saturday, bad idea…

anyway, it was a really cool afternoon, no pressure, just good clean fun!

thanks to Faif for the patience and for inviting us, and for the portuguese fellas for the company…also nice meeting Magico!

next time we´ll be there sooner!
